On the evidence of his game Fontwell success last month, a reported breathing operation appears to have done the trick for DEIREADH RE. The son of Old Vic, a course hurdles winner, showed a likeable attitude that day and he gets the vote to follow up with forecast good ground to suit. Buachaill Alainn has only been beaten a combined total of two lengths in his two chase appearances thus far and another big run looks on the cards, while Weekend Millionair, Twirling Magnet and Brassick add further spice to the opener.

LAURENS RUBY made a promising start to her racing career when third behind subsequent winner Man Of Steel in a Ffos Las bumper last month and, with improvement expected, she could take all the beating. Like the selection, Pectora is entitled to have learnt plenty from her debut third at Market Rasen and any progression should see her reach the frame again, while Gilded Article needs to improve on her two bumper starts last year but the booking of Tony McCoy is a significant positive.

It could pay to side with the in-form and lightly-weighted PRINCESSE FLEUR in what looks a wide open handicap. Win and placed efforts over this C&D last month show she's arriving in top form and a further 3lb rise shouldn't be enough to stop her going close. Mighty Clarets has reached the frame in two starts earlier this month and merits close consideration now tried in a visor, while handicap debutant Annelko also holds claims. STRONGLY SUGGESTED looks like the one that they all have to beat, though. The Kayf Tara gelding returned from a short break to score gamely over 2m3f at Market Rasen last time and a 5lb rise is deemed fair.
