Pugin looks very interesting having been sent clear of his field last time before being swamped late on, but with half a furlong less to travel, he might not prove so easy to catch. Lower For Longer will be trying to sit on the pace as well and may have the better speed dropping in grade, but JAMES BAY was a very good second here in August, and will have plenty of early pace to aim at here.

Thanks Laura will be popular here, but all her better form is over shorter, and her stamina has to be taken on trust. POOLSIDE MANNERS went in to many notebooks when third here on her debut, and it seems fair to assume she will come on for the experience. She may well be able to reverse the form with runner-up Tally Road now, and could improve past all of these with a clear run.

Mambointheforest is possibly overpriced having finished a nose in front of PLEASECALLMEBACK in August, and he can go well at a price. The suggestion ran on to fail narrowly there and again over a mile and a half since, and looks as if he may be better suited by this trip. Primo Touch is a class act and has been competing in better races but his stamina remains in question for now at least.

AUBRIETA looked a potentially smart filly when justifying market confidence first time out at the chief expense of Marie Mackay. With that experience to draw on, she may just have the edge on Ya Mar who put debut experience to good use when scoring impressively second time out.
