A significant drop in grade should see HURRICANE TURN get off the mark, but he will have to be at his best to see off Repentant, if that rival reproduces his recent effort in second at this track. Major In Time ran with promise at Monmouth and completes the shortlist.
JUST DO IT PLEASE steps up in trip after bouncing back to winning ways over six furlongs and looks the one to side with for a yard in excellent nick. Serene Queen is proven over this yardage, though, and makes plenty of appeal after a narrow defeat in July, while Thedamageisdone hacked up at Delaware and deserves closer market inspection.
HIJAAB split a pair of future winners when runner-up at Monmouth and gets the vote on her third start. Kiss Me Forever went agonisingly close on her last outing and deserves to go one better eventually, while Vale Ridge may find this a more realistic assignment after defeat at Saratoga.
BLAME THE JOCKEY performed with plenty of credit when finishing third over track and trip, after battling for the lead, and a slight drop in class could make a big difference. James Lee wasn't far behind in fourth and has to enter calculations, while Bake Shop deserves a market check despite disappointing when favourite at Delaware.
CROWN THY GOOD has been banging on the door and deserves another try back on turf. Relentless Ride is similarly consistent and cannot be discounted and Paddington Express deserves a market check after a decent debut performance.
PEBBLE BEACH BABY was only beaten a length when forced four wide on the run-in at Del Mar and can gain compensation with a smoother passage here. Guayana is likeable and has to enter calculations while My Wild Gata was behind a future winner last time and deserves a market check.
A few in with chances here but this represents a marked drop in grade for AQUINNAH and it will be disappointing if she isn't able to get back to winning ways. Recent winner Inspired By Grace shouldn't be too far away again with Romantica Mia also respected.
SPOOKY LADY impressed when winning in good style around here last month and she looks a filly worth sticking with. Hat-trick seeker House Wine makes obvious appeal in opposition with the lightly-raced Puddifoot another to take the eye.
WINNING CAUSE showed a great attitude when landing a Grade 3 prize over this trip at Monmouth last time and he will take some stopping if arriving in the same mood. Holiday Star rates the biggest threat following his nose defeat in a 100k contest at Saratoga, ahead of the Arnaud Delacour-trained Margano.
X WHY ZEE has edged closer to the target in each of her four visits to the racetrack thus far and this could be her time to shine. Talia Lass is open to most improvement with only two runs under her belt and certainly looks good enough to figure, while Beer Goggles also holds claims.
