Burns Night has improved for the switch to Phil Kirby's yard but the seven-year-old didn't do much in front at Fakenham last time and, with that in mind, is worth taking on at the likely prices. Tears From Heaven would be interesting returning from a long lay-off if the market vibes were positive, while Pudsey House couldn't be ruled out upped in trip. However, a chance is taken on BENMADIGAN who gets his ground this afternoon and Nicky Richards's charge is still fairly handicapped on his old form.

Although Dispour sets a useful standard here, the three-year-old was being rustled along a fair way out when beaten at Sedgefield last time and conceding 7lb to some useful flat types is no formality. Thorpe is an interesting runner for Lucinda Russell, having achieved a rating of 75 on the level for Ralph Beckett, but GOLD CHAIN gets the nod. Dianne Sayer's charge was a highly promising second on her debut over timber, with Seaside Rock a long way behind in third, and this well-bred daughter of Authorized can get on the scoresheet today.

Watch out for: Dispour (1)

There were excuses for Dispour's defeat at Sedgefield 3 weeks ago and this looks a good chance to regain the winning thread. Thorpe showed enough on the level to think he should have a future in this sphere, so is feared most.

Agricultural was well in contention when falling four out over C&D three weeks ago and warrants respect, while Muwalla might still have more to give off a mark 108. My Idea looks handicapped to the hilt but Teo Vivo couldn't be ruled out completely.

Bellgrove is a player if building on his third last time, although the step up in trip doesn't look an obvious positive, so BIGGAR is taken to score. Up 4lb for that success at the Scottish venue, Donald McCain's charge remains relatively lightly raced at this stage of his career and could have a lot more to offer. For all Cadore finished a well-beaten second over C&D when last sighted, Civil Unrest (winner) has since followed up at Kelso and done that form no harm. RHYMERS STONE could be the one to latch on to, though, as Lucinda Russell's inmate got within a length of Civil Unrest in that handicap at the Scottish venue. Craig Nichol takes off a useful 7lb in the plate and his mount would appear to have Cadore held on a line through that form. Lysino is also noted.

Rhymers Stone improved when a close third to the thriving Civil Unrest at Kelso (2¼m), and is taken to gain a first win over hurdles, for all the drop in trip is a minor worry. Lysino and Cadore are the pair to give him most to do on recent evidence, while Pass Muster and Destiny Blue are well treated on Flat exploits, and need a market check.
