This race revolves around Kerless Del Roc and whether Fernando Jara can get him to the front early on. The six-year-old has a fantastic record at this venue when able to dominate and that was highlighted when he was only beaten a head into second in the Kahayla Classic over C&D last year. That said, he may have to work from stall nine and a chance can be taken on HAMEEM. Kemari and Away He Goes both have strong form claims and are likely to go well, although neither of them are regular winners and so a chance can be taken with DARAMETHOS. The son of Sea The Stars put in a career best when an impressive winner of the Jebel Ali Stakes two starts ago and he confirmed that promise when fourth in a decent renewal of the Dubai Millennium last time. That form suggests that he can make the frame here and the extra couple of furlongs may bring about further progression. Global Storm was third in this race 12 months ago and is likely to be in the mix once again, while Senor Toba is a noteworthy raider from Hong Kong.

The likeable veteran SECRET AMBITION looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to gain another valuable victory. The earlier start, when temperatures are higher, often makes front running on this dirt track even more favourable and Bhupat Seemar's 10-year-old showed that he can handle conditions when making all in the 2021 Godolphin Mile. Plenty of encouragement was taken when he was unable to get to the rail on his seasonal return behind Algiers and he was far from disgraced when second in the Jebel Ali Mile last month. The two drawn inside of him should not be a threat for the early lead and it would be no surprise to see him dominate. Everfast is a consistent type who should be in the mix once again, while Canvassed and Royal Mews complete the shortlist.
Doug Watson has a good record in this Group 3 contest so perhaps the thriving FANAAR can add this to last month's Jebel Ali Mile. The William Buick-ridden Royal Mews has produced 2 smart handicap performances here in recent months and heads the many dangers along with the selection's stablemates Everfast and Canvassed.

With all of that in mind, a chance can be taken on COULD BE KING. The Norwegian raider has improved over this trip during the last 12 months and he caught the eye when seventh behind City Walk in a handicap over C&D recently. The seven-year-old did best of those drawn low on that occasion and he was carrying top weight on his return from a 128-day break. Now drawn highest of all, he could come up the often favoured stands' side rail and should not be underestimated in an open event. Acklam Express rarely runs poorly here and has to be of some interest, while Thunder Of Niagara could also go well.
A case can be made for a few of these but COACHELLO holds the edge on form so Gordon Elliott's C&D winner gets the vote at the chief expense of fellow C&D scorer City Walk. In-form duo Batwan and Al Dasim can also boast winning form here and need factoring in too.

A case can be made for plenty of these but none more so than MR RAJ, who stayed on for third in the UAE 2000 Guineas last month. That appears to be the strongest three-year-old dirt race to have been run in the UAE this season and the way he finished suggests that the extra trip should not be a problem. A wide draw is not overly concerning as he does not need to lead and has already proven that he can handle kick back. Lahresh won well over C&D last time and is an obvious threat. Wide draws and the trip are worries for Ami Please and Southern Artist, while Go Soldier Go could stay on late and make the frame.
MR RAJ created a good impression when landing a 7f maiden here in January and took his form up a notch when third in last month's UAE 2000 Guineas, staying on to pull clear of the remainder. He could well do better again now his stamina is tested further and earns the vote, with Lahresh, Ami Please and Southern Artist others fancied to be in the mix in an interesting affair.

Not a strong renewal of this Group 1 event but that does mean that BENDOOG has an ideal chance to make his mark at the highest level. The son of Gun Runner has proven to be very consistent and only found the high-class Algiers too good in the second round of this challenge last month. He was behind Salute The Soldier prior to that but Fawzi Nass' gelding was drawn inside of the selection that day and was able to dominate, whereas that rival is now drawn out in stall 10 on this occasion. A reproduction of either of those performances may well be enough to see Bendoog home in front here. Kafoo remains an unexposed five-year-old and he appeared to be coming back to form when fourth in the Jebel Ali Mile last time. The extra trip today should help his chances and he may prove to be the main threat to his stablemate. Law Of Peace has to be of some interest now upped in trip, while Atletico El Culano has a solid each-way chance.
SALUTE THE SOLDIER stumbled at the start when finishing behind Bendoog here last month and is better judged on his C&D success in January when proving too strong for Atletico El Culano, with Bendoog just over 2 lengths adrift in third. If able to reproduce that level of form, Salute The Solider will surely prove hard to beat in the absence of Hypothetical.

Al Suhail sets the standard following his impressive success in the Al Fahidi Fort in January, but he's not the most reliable of performers and was a beaten odds-on favourite in this race last year. As a result, the vote goes to LANEQASH on his debut for Bhupat Seemar. The five-year-old was a Listed winner in the UK for Roger Varian last year and his record when fresh is very strong. On his seasonal debut in 2022, the son of Cable Bay split the high-class Pogo and Kinross at Haydock and he was second in the Group 2 Hungerford Stakes on his return in 2021. Danyah was a ready winner over C&D last month and is another with strong form claims.
AL SUHAIL produced a fine turn of foot and looked better than ever when landing a C&D Group 2 on his return to action in January and, whilst he's never been the most consistent, a repeat should see him tough to beat here. Danyah, a winner himself last time, and the returning Laneqash head up the dangers, with Path of Thunder also making each-way appeal.

One of the best renewals of this event in recent years, although it will take a big performance to stop REAL WORLD if Saeed bin Suroor's gelding is anywhere near his best. The six-year-old easily accounted for Alfareeq in the Zabeel Mile last season and that rival went on to win this contest 12 months ago. Following a failed return to dirt, Real World only found Baaeed too good in the Lockinge and Queen Anne and, while the 263-day break is a slight concern, he may prove to be too good. Master Of The Seas returned from a lengthy absence himself with a victory in the Zabeel Mile in January and it will be hard to keep him out of the frame. Valiant Prince has improved hugely and he is another to note, despite a wide draw.
REAL WORLD has the best form and, despite being off 8 months since finishing second to Baaeed at Royal Ascot, he makes most appeal. Fellow Godolphin representitives Valiant Prince and Master of The Seas head the dangers.

Tuz is the obvious starting point following his three-length win in the Al Shindagha last month, but he dominated from stall one on that occasion and is drawn widest of all here. If he tries to lead again, with the likes of Ponntos and Sound Money drawn low, it could set this race up perfectly for ISOLATE. Doug Watson's five-year-old only found Tuz too good on his UAE debut last time and he is entitled to improve significantly for that outing. He broke awkwardly on that occasion and, with a faster start here, should get a nice trip into the race just behind the leaders. The progressive Colour Up is a stablemate of the selection and is another who would benefit from a strong early pace.
TUZ was a convincing winner of the Al Shindagha Sprint over C&D last time and, if he's not pressed too hard for the lead, he should be hard to pass once more. Mouheeb has the class to trouble the selection and Isolate is no forlorn hope despite being behind the selection on his stable debut.
