God's County has had plenty of chances for Tony Martin so it could pay to side with NATIVE SON, who looks to be getting the hang of things just at the right time. The gelding son of Revoque displayed marked improvement to finish runner-up in a Ballinrobe bumper in May and, while underfoot conditions are a slight concern, he's likely to have been well prepared for his hurdling debut and any positive market vibes would be worth latching onto. The Folkes Choice is another interesting contender for the shrewd Henry De Bromhead operation.
Ambush Angel is capable of winning a race and isn't one to give up on yet, while Native Son will be a player if taking to hurdles. However, the most solid option is The Folkes Choice who is taken to get off the mark with Ruby Walsh doing the steering.

Churchfield Champ arrives on the back of two promising handicap performances at Sligo but this represents a notable step up in class against the likes of Dancing Tornado and PIRES, so preference is for experience. Tony Martin's charge has been freshened up for this having restored some confidence at Cork over the larger obstacles in April and he looks to have ground conditions in his favour. Of the others, Michael Hourigan's son of Golden Tornado isn't getting any younger at 11 but can't be dismissed, while Clarach is a mare on an upward curve and receives weight all around.
The consistent Hunting Tower ran well on his reappearance and, given he is entitled to have come for that run, he looks to have solid claims here. Clarach, Satu and Pires are likely to fight it out for minor honours.

ZARALABAD would appear to save some of his better performances for Limerick and he should have no problem on testing ground if conditions continue to deteriorate. Charlie Swan's seven-time career winner has yet to set the world alight in this code (one win from six) but he broke his maiden tag here two starts ago and shaped well enough off a revised mark of 103 at Down Royal the last day. Elsewhere, Coffey's Pub is expected to prove a popular each-way selection, while the jockey booking of Paul Townend suggests there could be more to come from Cyprusormilan.
A devilishly competitive handicap, and a case can be made for many. However, Zaralabad remains open to progress and, having shaped as though stepping up to this sort of trip would be in his favour last time, he earns the vote. Last-time-out winners Cyprusormilan and Dingaling merit respect, the latter particularly so, while Coole Avenue should also be in the mix.

Keep a close eye on Prince Ludovic, who remains an unexposed quantity after just one effort over the larger obstacles, but experience could prove key and OUR VICTORIA is expected to prove a tough nut to crack. Rated 128, she sets the standard here and her recent Roscommon effort behind the former Nicky Henderson inmate Ainama and Campbonnais looks rock solid. That particular level of form is entitled to see her make the frame but Clouded Thoughts and Devil's Elbow aren't to be dismissed at the shortlist stage.

LORD BEN pulled too hard for his own good when disappointing favourite-backers over 2m4f at Kilbeggan last month and is possibly better judged on his previous course second to Clouded Thoughts. A drop back in trip could work wonders for Henry De Bromhead's charge today and he gets a tentative vote ahead of the returning Sicilian Secret, who won twice over hurdles in 2011 but hasn't been seen since last July. Fellow chasing debutant Jack Cool also lacks a recent run having not raced since December but he was a classy performer over the smaller obstacles and must be accorded respect.
Lord Ben boasts the best piece of chasing form on offer here, but he doesn't always find a great deal when push comes to shove and, in any case, some of these were significantly superior to him over hurdles. One of those is Eightybarackstreet who should step up on his debut effort in this sphere, but if all is well with Jack Cool, and he jumps proficiently, he can trump them both.

The progressive VICTRIX GALE sneaks in at the foot of the weights and makes a great deal of appeal representing Tony Martin and Paul Townend. The mare has really come to hand since being asked to tackle 3m recently and although down a couple of furlongs in trip and back over fences after landing a handicap hurdle from 1lb 'wrong' at Listowel last month, she is worth following in both codes at present. Queen Of Cool is attractively treated on her handicap chase debut, while River Liane and Campbonnais look most likely of those towards the head of the weights.
Campbonnais and Jamsie Hall, second and fourth respectively in the race won by Ainama at Roscommon last month, should both be on the premises again, but in current form it's hard to look beyond Victrix Gale who receives plenty of weight from that duo. Mirador del Conde is also on the shortlist.

After failing to beat a rival home on her debut in testing conditions at Fairyhouse in January, the Daggers Drawn mare has since shown improved form on better ground, filling the runner-up spot at Ballinrobe and Wexford. She was only narrowly denied last time and can gain a deserved success here if the heavy rain stays away. Izabelle Amie showed some promise when third to Glens Melody on her racecourse bow at Tipperary, while Roisin Dubh has also shown enough to be of interest.
