Flashy Lover is running better than her form figures would suggest and her two efforts to date put her in with a real chance. Farmers Wish and Yawary have shown enough to be considered but preference is for CRAICATTACK, second in a Thirsk seller over 6f this month. This doesn't look a lot tougher and if he shows the same improvement as between his first and second efforts, he should prove too good here.

Experience on the tricky South Coast track is often a real advantage, which earns LANCASTER LAD the vote here. A C&D winner here last July - off an 11lb lower handicap mark - he lost his way last back end but showed a welcome return to form when third in a seller here this month and should be able to step up and take this. Prince Valentine is the other C&D horse in the field but hasn't run this year and Lady Florence, second off this mark here this month, looks a bigger threat.

Joss Stick was well beaten in a handicap here this month but has gone close in this grade and can't be ruled out. This should principally concern Landucci and CARIBBEAN CORAL, who both win sellers last time out. The former scored over C&D but the latter, a 6f winner at Bath, is a former C&D winner and has been running consistently well in slight better races than his rival.

Napoletano is running well but may need some help from the handicapper, while My Learned Friend is well weighted on last summer's winning form but has yet to match those efforts this season. It's worth siding with PATAVIUM PRINCE, just pipped over C&D this month. He's up another 1lb today but is in such good form at present he could be up to landing this.

A 6lb penalty may not be enough to halt Coral Shores from picking up his third win from five starts but both successes have come at Warwick and his recent effort over C&D last month saw him well held in third in a similar contest. Rawdon could be given a chance if he could translate some winning all-weather form to the turf but it's worth taking a chance here on PENANG CINTA. His only win in the past two seasons came in Guernsey last month but he's been running well recently in better company and looks well handicapped in this grade.

Steig battled home here last month in a similar contest but it's debatable whether this longer trip will be in his favour and he's passed over in favour of GROSS PROPHET, who won a similar contest over this trip at Chepstow two starts ago.
