Red Guard has shown up well in two starts so far and can figure closely again, as can the experienced King Of New York. However, GREY WIZARD made a debut full of promise when second at Belmont Park and this beautifully bred colt can go one better this time around.
Wavell Avenue clocked a decent speed figure when opening her account last month, with the consistent Wraith expected to make her presence felt again too. However, VISION OF MINE stepped up on her previous form when second around here last time and she could be one to keep on side for the time being.
A few in with chances here but a decent case can be made for the lightly-raced FRESH FELINE. The consistent Winner's Legacy and Fashion Fund head the list of dangers.
HOUSE RULES bolted up by six lengths over C&D recently and deserves another try in stakes company. Princess Violet will be tough to shake off if she repeats her recent display at Belmont, and Snowbell arrives with confidence presumably buoyed by her victory last time.
A couple of valuable newcomers leap off the page, with the $625,000 yearling purchase GOOD PICK NICK preferred. March also sold for a considerable sum and deserves closer market inspection, while Jack O Liam looks the pick of those with racecourse experience after his promising fourth on debut.
MOBRIDGE had a subsequent winner well in arrears when scoring by three lengths at Belmont and gets the vote. Powerful Instinct wasn't beaten far in a more valuable race last time and looks the main danger to the selection, with Hidden Vow also respected.
CELEBRATED TALENT couldn't have gone any closer without winning over 7f at this venue last time when caught in the last stride. This slightly shorter trip will help and he is tough to oppose. Pulling G's is lightly raced and open to plenty of improvement. Waco is a solid each-way player.
A tight and competitive contest in which QUEZON shades the vote. A facile winner in stakes company on just her second start, she looks potentially out of the top drawer. She will have to improve, though, as both Condo Commando and Angela Renee are serious contenders in their own right.
OSTROLENKA followed up his maiden romp with victory in the Sleepy Hollow Stakes and looks to be on a steep upward trajectory. Frosted justified favouritism to get off the mark at this track and is a big player, along with debut scorer Classy Class.
SECRET CIRCLE steps up in trip after finishing a close runner-up in the Breeders' Cup Sprint at Santa Anita and gets the vote. The selection had Private Zone in arrears on that occasion and is backed to maintain that dominance, but might find it tougher to shrug off Belmont winner Transparent and Kelso Handicap scorer Vyjack.
